November 2008: Colossians in the EasyEnglish Bible The EasyEnglish team have recently completed a revised version of the Book of Colossians in the English Learners Bible series. Like all our books, it is available as a free download from the EasyEnglish website.
October 2008: Understanding Ezekiel's temple: a new Bible Commentary The vision of a new temple at the end of Ezekiel is one of the most challenging, but important, passages in the Old Testament. In this new commentary, Keith Simons examines the text of Ezekiel's vision in an expository manner, and examines its practical meaning for believers today.
October 2008: Revised and improved: Bible translation of John The English Learner's Bible Translation of John's Gospel has now been carefully and comprehensively revised. This is a valuable resource for everyone who would like to study the Bible in simple, clear English.
September 2008: A new Bible Commentary on the Book of Jude Norman Hillyer, theologian and author, has written a new EasyEnglish Bible Commentary on the Book of Jude. The Book of Jude is one of Norman's areas of special interest, so this commentary (available as a free download from the EasyEnglish website) will be eagerly read by many users of our website.
August 2008: Ezekiel: a translation and commentary in simple English With the publication of the final instalment, Ian Mackervoy's EasyEnglish commentary on the major prophetic book of Ezekiel is now complete. In this final part, Ezekiel sees beyond the desperate state of his people to an inspired vision of a new temple and a new land; which Ian understands to be a prophecy of God's plans for the future of Israel.
August 2008: Malachi: a revised translation in very simple English We have undertaken a thorough revision of our translation of the Book of Malachi. This is a book of challenging prophecies from the end of the Old Testament. Our version is now through advanced theological checking.
August 2008: Esther: God saves the Jews The Book of Esther is always popular; and with its account of how God saved the Jewish nation through the bravery of one young woman, it's not hard to see why. Our translation is in a very simple level of English using a 1200 word vocabulary; and has recently been revised.
July 2008: Jonah in the English Learners Bible Our new simple Bible translation, with notes, of Jonah is now ready. This translation is especially easy to read and simple to understand.
